Satisfaction

I was born into a world of
rules and todos.
Oh! don't you wear that!
Oh! obey your elders, young lady!


Till one day,
confusion and struggle
replaced the rules and todos.


I lost in the search of love,
So I ran to seek knowledge.


But knowledge, it bored me.


So, my companion became ignorance
but that too proved useless


Tell me, where can I,
can I find satisfaction?
Because I have sought all,


Or so I thought.
Till i found that the source of
my unhappiness was the very
pleasure that I sought.
